Bookcase in the form of a metal cage, fully varnished and in burnished brass, handmade using traditional methods and without using any chemical products. Comes with inbuilt supports for shelving; thick-width shelves, available in a range of sizes and depths, made with heat treated and oil-finished Eucalyptus wood or in other wood of Henge range. The bookcase is available in a range of sizes and can be personalised for specific projects. Two depths available: 35 cm and 45 cm, various heights, shelves come in a range of depths and lengths.
Structure
Square solid steel uprights, 1,5 x 1,5 cm, steel shelf supports.
Square brass pipe uprights, 1,5 x 1,5 cm, brass shelf supports.
Structure Finish
Black steel hand-burnished using traditional techniques. Brick red or dove grey paint finish. Brass hand-burnished using traditional techniques.
Shelves
5 cm-thick plywood.
Shelves Finish
Heat treated Eucalyptus and Black Eucalyptus, Heat treated Acacia, Heat treated Chestnut, Heat treated Oak, Swamp Oak. Oil finish based on natural wax and water.
