The Gira F1 firewall module is installed in the
control cabinet as part of a KNX system. Following
start-up, the Gira F1 acts as a KNX bridge between
several self-contained KNX systems.
Data that are only relevant to one KNX system
are protected. At the same time, KNX data from a
shared weather station, for example, can be used
in the private KNX system in the apartment.
In addition, notifications regarding upcoming lift
maintenance, package deliveries or imminent
window cleaning services can be filtered and
forwarded to the apartments, where they are then
displayed, by the Gira X1 for example, using
displays such as the Gira G1. The lift can even
be called without leaving the apartment.
