Sensors for sun, wind and rain
The Gira System 3000 brightness and temperature sensor BT enables
hangings to be raised or lowered automatically depending on light and
temperature conditions. This includes sun protection in strong light –
if desired, only once a certain (adjustable) temperature in the room has
been reached – as well as twilight control in the evening and morning
hours, and lighting control for outdoor lighting. Assigning the sensor to
the controller and setting the functions become very simple tasks with
the Gira Bluetooth App. The wind sensor enables the blinds to be raised
depending on the wind force in order to protect sensitive blind slats.
The rain sensor is used for recording and analysing precipitation. With
the aid of an integrated heater, the end of the precipitation can be
detected almost immediately.
More security and convenience in the home
Gira detectors and sensors increase security and convenience in the home. The sensors
measure humidity, wind speed, brightness, temperature, movement or time and perform
important protective functions completely automatically. An advantage is that the detectors
and sensors can be combined with the Gira blind controller and the alarm systems from
Gira and can also be integrated into the KNX system and the Gira eNet system.
Integration into other Gira systems
Detectors and sensors can be conveniently integrated into the KNX
system and the Gira eNet system. KNX sensors such as weather stations,
temperature sensors, presence detectors and window contacts enable
various functions to be automatically controlled as needed. In the
Gira eNet system, security functions such as panic switching can be
conveniently integrated via detectors and sensors.
