for all indoor and outdoor requirements. The range includes door intercoms to match the
Gira switch ranges, video function, keyless access control, flexible operating options by
connecting to IP networks, and much more.
Home stations
Gira home stations are voice
and operating units at the front
door. Gira offers devices for
surface-mounted and flush-
mounted installation which
have a modular design and can
be combined to match the Gira
switch ranges. Additional
solutions enable further
functionality.
Matching the style of the
switch range
The door intercoms of the
Gira door communication
system are integrated in the
Gira switch ranges. This means
both unity of design for the
entire electrical installation
in the building and a large
degree of freedom in selecting
colour and design options.
Integration in columns
The Gira door communication
profiles can be placed and
individually configured as Gira
energy and light profiles, e.g.
at a driveway or garden gate.
Gira also offers individual
installation solutions for large
residential units or for inte-
gration into existing systems.
Network-capable door
communication
The Gira Door Communications
IP-gateway makes operating
door communication even more
convenient and flexible as it
integrates the Gira door and
home stations into IP networks.
This means that the Gira Control
Clients, computers, and also
IP-capable phones, can be used
for door communication all over
the building.
Door intercoms for outdoor
use
Gira door stations serve as
voice and operating units for
outdoor areas and are the
counterpieces to home stations
within the building. They can be
used to equip a wide range of
properties – from single-family
homes to large buildings with
up to 136 residential units.
Keyless access to rooms and
buildings
The Gira Keyless In provides
secure access control without
keys: By entering a numeric
code, users can conveniently
enter rooms and buildings,
depending on their access
authorisation.
Easy installation and start-up
The Gira door communication
system is based on the 2-wire
bus. This means that only
two lines are required for the
transmission of all audio and
video signals.
Control devices
Control devices take on
fundamental tasks for supplying
and controlling the system.
Additional system devices are
available for signal processing,
enabling flexible system
planning. All DRAs can be
mounted on a top-hat rail.
