Gira X1
When used with a KNX system you can see who is at home,
switch lights on and off or optimise your home temperature
settings, whether at home or on the go. The Gira X1 unites two
functions in one housing. Firstly, the Gira X1 can be used to
control building functions with a smartphone or tablet using
the Gira X1 app. Secondly, the Gira X1 is also capable of
automating these functions, as is the Gira L1. Due to its
compact design for mounting on top-hat rails, it can be
installed quickly and without needing much space. The quick
and easy start-up of the Gira X1 is done using the Gira Project
Assistant (GPA).

Gira Project Assistant (GPA)
The Gira Project Assistant features a clear design, enables
intuitive operation with drag & drop and guides users through
successful parametrisation of the Gira X1 and Gira L1 devices in
just a few steps. The GPA supports easy creation of a building
structure, locating devices and functions, parameterisation of
scenes and timers as well as the creation and extensive testing
of logics.

Gira X1 app
The Gira X1 turns existing mobile devices into convenient
operating elements for intelligent building technology. The
respective app is available from the Apple and Android stores
and can be used on smartphones and tablets. The Gira device
portal offers a free service for reaching building technology
from off site (DDNS).

Gira L1
It can be used for switching on lights in a time-delayed
sequence, calling up specific light scenes directly using a touch
sensor, controlling room temperature, or creating other logical
functions. With the Gira L1, buildings with KNX systems can be
equipped with a number of automated functions without much
effort. These can be created and simulated via GPA on logic
pages of any size. This significantly reduces the start-up time.

Gira KNX RF
With Gira KNX RF, the operating comfort of building
management systems can be increased easily at any time in
buildings with an existing KNX system. “KNX RF” stands for
“KNX Radio Frequency”, i.e. KNX via wireless signal. With little
time or effort, and above all without noise and dust, new
options for controlling lights, blinds, scenes, etc. wirelessly
can be now be installed in a building.

Gira KNX dimming actuators
The brightness of lights can be conveniently adjusted with
the Gira KNX DRA dimming actuators for individual lighting
scenarios and reduced energy consumption, automatically
via KNX. The KNX DRA dimming actuators with the index
status I04 are still universally usable, as in addition to
dimmable high-voltage LEDS, low-voltage LEDs (with ballast
devices) are now also generally supported. The automatic
measurement option for all LED loads simplifies start-up.

Gira KNX IP router
The Gira KNX IP router interconnects KNX lines via data
networks. It uses the KNXnet/IP standard, and in the future
index status I14 the secure communication standard KNX
Secure. KNX telegrams are now also transmitted in encrypted
form between the devices via an IP network. KNX Secure
allows the authentication and encryption of the telegrams sent
out by KNX devices in IP networks. This ensures that KNX
tunnelling or routing telegrams cannot be read or manipulated
on IP.
