Recycling materials in our own plastics
manufacturing plant.
We are reducing production waste to a
minimum using state-of-the-art tools. We
convert any waste produced into fully
reusable regranulate 2 and feed this back
into the production process for suitable
product ranges.
We are conserving our resources.
The new Gira packaging design is
around 30 % smaller and uses
over 60 % less material. In ad-
dition, we are avoiding plastic and
using fully recyclable FSC certified
recycled paper.
Proven quality that ensures
durability and sustainability.
Gira’s mechanical products are
developed with a useful life of
at least 20 years. Our proven
quality requirements go above
and beyond norms and
standards.
Sustainable design lines.
With the Gira Esprit Linoleum-
Multiplex, we are reducing CO₂
emissions by approx. 75 % 1 by
using natural materials. Gira E2
colour aluminium is made from
our own recycled material and
reduces CO₂ emissions by
approx. 69 % 1.
1 Compared to an E2 1-gang pure white glossy reference frame.
Results per LCA in accordance with ISO 14040 (in critical review).
2 In the standard regranulation process, the regranulate can only be used as an approx.
15% admixture that is added to the primary granulate.
