REIWA
With Reiwa the sleeping area surpasses the traditional
concept of a bedroom, becoming an intimate
environment entirely dedicated to ourselves thanks
to an innovative conception of containing systems,
the architectural structure becomes an integral part
of the being.
The project is created from the idea of giving
a contemporary definition to the ancient need
of recognising oneself in the lived spaces, where each
object that tells something about us can find its natural
position.
Starting point of the aesthetic research are
the sculptural shapes of the primitivism in art,
reinterpreted in a modern way. The sculptures of Henry
Moore and the dream-like surrealism of René Magritte
give the language that inspires the flowing lines defining
essential volumetry.
Playing on an equilibrium of empty and full spaces,
a design devoid of frills, reduced to archetype, pure
and essential, is revealed.
Organic and fluid shapes define the design
of the accessories in solid wood that, skilfully carved by
modern CNC machines, acquire a shape ready to hold
clothes in a naturally precious way.
The flexible character of the accessories completes
the rationality of the wood panelling, characterised by
a strong technological component, by creating
a product unique of its kind, suitable to satisfy
the different aptitudes of living the walk-in closet.
