Serie di arazzi a soggetto informale
tessuti in filati di lino e seta tinti
appositamente per ottenere le
combinazioni cromatiche desiderate.
Il lino e la seta vengono prima tinti
e dopo essere stati asciugati all’aria
vengono filati in matasse.
La trama di volta in volta viene
schiacciata accuratamente con appositi
pettini fino a far scomparire l’ordito.
Series of tapestries with informal patterns,
made up of linen and silk yarns,
specifically dyed to obtain the desired
colour combinations.
The linen and silk are firstly dyed and, after
being air-dried, they are spun in hanks.
The weft is then carefully flattened
with special combs to make the warp
disappear.
