divenire delle loro case, immagine delle loro
Vite. Abbiamo trovato case un po’
stropicciate e un po’ ordinate, piene di
ricordi del passato e di attività del presente,
cariche di gestualità e rituali. Dimore ed
esistenze illuminate dalla luce, splendidi
scorci su umane storie, imperfezioni ed
aspirazioni.
Questo lavoro non avrebbe potuto
realizzarsi pienamente se non avessimo
trovato in Gianluca Vassallo un naturale,
cosciente interprete capace di dare forma
a quanto avevamo immaginato. Il creatore
dei significati che stavamo cercando, che
- vestiti della semplice eleganza della grafica
di Artemio Croatto - oggi si arricchiscono
di questo secondo capitolo.
Con VITE proponiamo il design nella
sua dimensione più umana. Quel design che
esprime le sue qualità nelle abitazioni di
persone che vivono le case come specchi:
per vedersi e non mostrarsi, per trovarsi e
non esporsi.

generously welcomed us into their private
spaces, while sharing the story of the
evolution of their homes, like reflections of
their Lives. We have found homes that are
a bit crumpled but somehow well-organized,
full of memories of the past and activities of
the present, gestures, and rituals. Abodes
and existences illuminated by light, splendid
glimpses of human histories, flaws, and
aspirations.
This work could never have been fully
accomplished had we not found Gianluca
Vassallo, a natural, conscious interpreter
capable of giving form to what we had
imagined. He is just the creator of meanings
we were looking for, meanings that rely on
the simple elegance of graphic design by
Artemio Croatto to now enrich this second
chapter.
With VITE we illustrate design in its
most human dimension. That design reveals
its qualities in the dwellings of people, who
experience their homes as if they were
mirrors: to see yourself, not to display
yourself. To know yourself – not to show off.
