it is no secret that a mattress is usually quite heavy. try and imagine what it is like to
hand-stitch all of the flat surfaces and the sides precisely, in straight, resistant rows.
it is challenging, hard work that our artisans perform each time a Leonardo mattress
takes shape. through the skillful use of a needle and thread, and with the assistance of
technology to support the mattress at the right height and in the
correct position, expert hands create the so-called rose tufts, positioned in perfect
alignment along the outer cover of the mattress. the final result is a triumph of
precision, ability and style.
