Employing the craftsmanship and artistry of hand-blown glass, Nest
is created to be a carrier of light, a translucent interpretation of
sacred celestial forms. For thousands of years, the spherical shapes
of the sun or crescents of the moon have captured the wonderment
and inspiration of mankind. Nest interprets the fascination of many
cultures as fixtures of sculptural luminosity created by two hand-
blown glass forms nesting in brilliant light. The outer sphere is blown
in thick clear crystal with a high-polished cut edge conveying the
optic quality of our handmade studio glass. Nesting inside like a gem
is the inner ball that surrounds the light source, illuminating in one of
six available jewel tones available in standard silver leaf or standard
soft gold leaf with polished nickel and brushed brass accents.
