In all studio glass, slight variations in shape, size, markings and bubbles are inherent in the process, and are the characteristics that distinguish handmade studio art glass from mass produced glass work.
DELPHI

When Alex Woogmaster began working on designing the Delphi collection, he wanted to arrive at
a design that felt clean, timeless and true. The collection is inspired by the myths and legends of the
ancient Oracle of Delphi, and each piece needed to have an almost mystical quality, glowing from
an almost primitively classical basin silhouette—made of hand formed or blown glass—set within a
silhouette whose form above all, emphasizes purity. There is something deeply peaceful and reassuring
to Alex about the concept of knowledge, and while these fi xtures don't necessarily reveal truths, we
hope that the light they shed can, metaphorically speaking, help bring the light of truth into our lives. At
the very least, these fi xtures are meant to bring a contemplative serenity and clarity to our world.
