In all studio glass, slight variations in shape, size, markings and bubbles are inherent in the process, and are the characteristics that distinguish handmade studio art glass from mass produced glass work.
VESTA
Vesta is inspired by one of the largest asteroids in our solar system that continuously orbits
the outer reaches of space. Its rocky form has been punished over billions of years since the
early formation of our planets. Our glass artisans have recreated this celestial form using a
unique technique of freehand glassblowing that creates a ghostlike illumination through the
colored glass. Each hand-blown, sculptural piece is a unique work of contemporary art.
