Finally, the most important reason why
Cloudy is the main feature of the dining
space, regards its shape. Cloudy has a
round shape and fits with the rest of
the curvy details and interiors. But most
importantly, it resembles the shape of a
cloud. Even the color of the blown glass
softly fades from white to transparent like
the clouds in the sky.
Having one’s own head “in the clouds”
is synonym of thinking, it shows the
relationship between cognition and upper
space. Nothing else but Cloudy could
better describe the process of thinking, of
innovation and meditation typical of such an
intellectually inspiring environment like the
Artscience Café.

At Artscience Café we are way above “cloud nine”, indeed the Cloudy
pendants that were used are more than 20. Many different solutions could
have been placed on top of the dining area of the Artscience Café. However,
Cloudy was selected as the best option, for many reasons. First of all, it is
an innovative lamp thanks to its LED energy-saving technology. The light
output is great and can be dimmed when needed. This is an important
feature for such a versatile place, where light sometimes serves a practical
purpose and sometimes it is just a decorative cozy element. The length of
the cables is easily adjustable in order to create a dynamic effect on the
high ceiling.
