against the bright lighting
fixture.
Travellers enter the lounge
and are immediately embraced
by the lighting around them
and the reflections released
by all the glossy materials like
marble, glass and mirroring
ceilings.

SOLUTIONS
In order to satisfy the architects’ needs, Tile was chosen as the protagonist
of this lounge. Tile is a versatile lamp, it can be turned into a chandelier or a
column or a screen, but in this case it was employed as a glass panel placed
behind the reception. In order to increase the reflection and brilliance of the
lamp, a double layer of Tile glasses was used.
Moreover, the light source was placed both at the top and at the bottom
of the structure. The two rows of energy-saving LEDs allowed to fully
illuminate the whole size of the lamp and to increase the sparkling effect
exponentially. All details were carefully taken care of, for this reason the
metal structure, as well as the light source, were recessed into the ceiling
and hidden.
This masterpiece of glass and light was then enclosed in a glass case that
added even more prestige to the final result.
