This 16th-century chapel in the centre of Sint-Truiden was given a new use in 2016 as a
work and exhibition space for the architects of Klaarchitectuur. The protected monument
underwent a thorough renovation and now combines the old character of the original building
with modern additions by architect Gregory Nijs. The four stacked boxes, which serve as an
office and conference room, transform the inner space of the chapel into the outdoor space
of the office. A staircase complex around the boxes provides an extra experience. The black
Hopper picnic, delivered by our dealer Carmetum, fits perfectly with the original natural stone
floor, which features a diagonal cross pattern.
