IP RATINGS FOR BATHROOMS
Some of the products featured in this catalogue state an IP rating
such as IP44. The term IP stands for Ingress Protection and relates
to the product’s ability to protect electrical parts from ingress of
moisture and water. In particular, this is relevant for products being
used in Bathroom locations.
For installation and compliance purposes, bathroom spaces have
been divided up into zones 0 to 3 and this diagram shows how
lighting in a Bathroom should be planned based on these zones.
