In tutto questo si inserisce il termine innovazione che,
automaticamente, farebbe pensare a progresso tecnologico ma
che in azienda viene tradotto con ‘offerta migliorativa concreta’,
più spesso fertile per qualche sforzo mentale umano che
tecnologico-meccanico. Non è un ingrediente necessario ma
favorisce la comunicazione di un prodotto.
Così, il lavoro svolto, è strettamente legato alle tante persone
del Circolo Edra, ciascuna delle quali tiene tesa l’attenzione
necessaria al raggiungimento di progetti e prodotti e processi,
contrariamente alle tendenze in materia di avvicendamento.
Queste persone più restano e più riescono ad offrire. Ricorre
quindi, con cadenza quotidiana, di trovarsi di fronte a dover
impegnare positivamente la mente per una socialità costruttiva
fondamentale.

Leonardo Volpi
Nato nel 1961, dopo gli studi artistici, apre un proprio studio di design e progettazione.
Inizia varie collaborazioni per seguire il progetto di prodotti, la realizzazione dei prototipi, i servizi fotografici e gli allestimenti fieristici. Esperienze importanti dove cresce professionalmente
con un approccio realistico al progetto che lo ha portato a ricoprire da diversi anni in Edra il ruolo di Responsabile Sviluppo Progetti e Prototipi.
Born in 1961, after studying art, he opened his own design firm. He started various collaborations, where he was responsible for design, prototyping, photo shoots and exhibition plans.
An important background where he grew professionally, taking a realistic approach to design, which a few years ago led him to be appointed Edra’s Prototype Development and Design
Manager.
The word Innovation has its place in all this, but, despite
automatically suggesting technological advancement, at the
company it is translated as ‘offering an actual improvement’,
more often than not the fruitful result of human mental effort
rather than a technological-mechanical one. It’s not an essential
ingredient but it makes a product easier to communicate.
Thus, all the work carried out, is tightly bound to the many
members of the Edra Club, each one keeping the attention
focussed on the achievement of projects and products and
processes, as opposed to the current trend towards disposability.
The longer these people stay, the more they can give. So, once a
day, like clockwork, I happen to feel I have to positively use my
mind for essential constructive sociability.
