On the Road... I miei primi quarant’anni.
‘Sulla strada’, per un viaggio lungo 40 anni, proprio come Dean
e Sal, che Jack Kerouac fa girovagare alla ricerca della felicità.
Io paragono spesso il mio ‘viaggio professionale’ a un percorso
esplorativo, a una scommessa che ogni giorno mi fa assaporare il
gusto di nuove esperienze.
A chi lavora in Edra viene naturale essere attento e meticoloso.
Lavorare con stile e con impegno è molto semplice, basta
adeguarsi alla ‘mise en place’ dell’azienda.
Chi mi conosce e conosce il mio mestiere potrebbe pensare che
occuparsi di numeri sia noioso. Sbaglierebbe. Il mio districarmi
fra ‘perdite e profitti’ non è solo un viaggio fra ‘costi e ricavi’, ma
è anche un modo per seguire la carovana delle scelte aziendali,
alcune riuscite pienamente, altre meno, ma tutte compiute con
coraggio. Perché sono cresciuta in un’azienda coraggiosa, che
mi ha permesso di avere visioni contro-corrente, di sviluppare
un pensiero creativo, fuori dagli schemi. Di questo sono
completamente grata a Edra.
Un grazie di cuore ai colleghi, alla famiglia Mazzei e a tutte le
persone incontrate in questo viaggio On the Road.
Vania Perini
Vania Peirini è la prima persona ad essere assunta in Edra e ricopre
da tempo il ruolo di Responsabile Affari Generali e Direzione Amministrativa
Ho collaborato con tre generazioni della famiglia Mazzei.
Credo di poter dire di averle conosciute bene, e che il loro
comune denominatore sia la determinazione nel raggiungere
l’obiettivo.
Ho cercato sempre di trasmettere quella determinazione ai
colleghi, agli operai e ai fornitori.
Con gli anni siamo cresciuti insieme, in tutti i sensi. Quando mi
fermo a pensare, mi sento sodisfatto di quello che siamo riusciti
a fare.
Alcuni progetti sembravano impossibili, ma siamo riusciti a
realizzarli.
Vincere queste sfide ci ha permesso di avere un atteggiamento
propositivo verso il futuro. Aspettiamo insieme il prossimo
obiettivo…
Nicola Bacci
Nicola Bacci entra giovanissimo nell’azienda di famiglia Brunero Mazzei
e da tempo in Edra ricopre il ruolo di Responsabile Acquisti e Produzione
I worked with three generations of the Mazzei family.
I think I can say that I have known them well, and I believe that
their common denominator is the determination to achieve the
goal.
I have always tried to convey that determination to colleagues,
workers and suppliers.
Over the years, we have grown together, in every way. When I
stop thinking, I feel satisfied with what we have managed to do.
Some projects seemed to be impossible, but we managed to
make them happen.
Overcoming these challenges has allowed us to have a proactive
attitude towards the future.
Let’s wait together for the next goal ...

Nicola Bacci enters the Brunero Mazzei family company at
a very young age and he now is Purchasing and Production Manager
On the Road... my first forty years.
‘On the Road’ for a 40-year trip, just like Dean and Sal that
Jack Kerouac makes wandering in pursuit of happiness. I often
compare my “professional journey” to an explorative process, to
a bet that makes me taste the flavour of new experiences, every
single day.
For those who work at Edra, being careful and meticulous is
second nature. Working in style and with dedication is very easy,
you only have to adapt to the company’s ‘mise en place’.
Those who know me and know my job might think that dealing
with numbers is boring. They would be mistaken. My managing
‘profits and losses’ is not just a journey through ‘costs and
revenues’, it is also a way to join the caravan of the company’s
choices, some perfectly successful, others a bit less, but all
bravely made.
Because I have grown in a brave company that let me have
nonconformist views, develop creative thinking, break the
mould. For this, I am totally grateful to Edra.
A heartfelt thank-you to my colleagues, to the Mazzei family, and
to all the people I met on this journey On the Road.
