doveva realizzare il caminetto in ingresso ha poi rivoluzionato
il progetto iniziale trasformandolo in un camino grigio che
riprende le forme della montagna Tofana. L’orso – nel nostro
caso di colore bianco - disteso sulla banchisa di ghiaccio dorme
davanti al suo fuoco. È stata veramente una sorpresa trovare
questo oggetto, bello e funzionale, perché ci si può sedere a 360
gradi. Inoltre, siamo stati tra i primi ad averlo, almeno a Cortina.
Chi arriva rimane affascinato e non pensa di trovarsi in un
albergo o in un ristorante ma piuttosto nel salotto di un amico.
Quali sono i nuovi progetti?
Abbiamo in progetto di fare una suite di 300 metriquadrati,
con ogni comfort. Camere principali spaziose, camere per
gli ospiti, una grande zona giorno, cucina a vista sulla sala da
pranzo, e area wellness. Per il soggiorno abbiato scelto Grande
Soffice. Vogliamo offrire dei servizi molto particolari: una
persona che segue il cliente 24 ore su 24, una guida alpina
che, in base alle capacità del cliente e delle condizioni meteo,
orienta e programma le escursioni. La scelta della cucina a vista
è voluta. Pensiamo di offrire una lista di chef, anche stellati, che
all’occasione possono cucinare per i clienti in casa, instaurando
un rapporto diretto. Vogliamo offrire un servizio studiato nei
minimi dettagli e cucito addosso al nostro ospite. Soddisfare
ogni desiderio con la massima cura e attenzione.
Il suo punto di vista su Edra.
È unica, un’altra categoria. I suoi divani mi hanno
impressionato, per le loro qualità e dimensioni. Ci siamo
trovati subito d’accordo. Una cosa che mi ha colpito è che
molti nostri clienti hanno riconosciuto il prodotto, e mi hanno
raccontato di averlo nelle loro case, in giro per il mondo. Questo
rafforza il rapporto. Inoltre, la storia del divano Pack è a dir
poco affascinante e fa riflettere…ma vi consigliamo di farvela
raccontare direttamente da Edra.

design and changed it into a grey chimneypiece that recalls the
shapes of the Tofana mountain. The bear – ours was a white one
– lying on the ice pack is asleep in front of his fire. Finding this
beautiful, functional piece was a real surprise, because you can
sit on it all the way around. In addition, we have been one of the
first places to have one, at least in Cortina. Those who come here
fall under its spell and don’t want to know whether they are in a
hotel or in a restaurant, it feels more like they are in a friend’s
living room.
What are your future plans?
We are planning to make a 300 square metre suite, with all
comforts. Generous main rooms, guest rooms, a large living
area ready to welcome the guests, a dining room with an open
kitchen, and a spa. We chose Grande Soffice for the living room.
We want to provide a few unique services: a person taking care
of the guests 24 hours a day, an alpine guide who plans the
excursions and adapts them to the guest’s skills and the weather.
The open kitchen is a deliberate choice. We are planning to
include a list of chefs, including starred ones, who may at times
cook in the guests’ homes, thus building a personal relationship
with them. We want to provide a service that has been planned
down to the tiniest detail and that fits each guest like a glove. We
want to fulfill every wish with the greatest care and attention.
Your opinion about Edra.
It is unique, it is in a class of its own. I have been impressed
by its sofas, their features and size. We hit it off right away. I
was impressed and amused that many of our guests recognised
the product straightaway, and they told me they have it in their
homes around the world. This has strengthened our bond. In
addition, the story of Pack sofa is nothing short of intriguing,
and it makes you think … but I suggest you should let Edra tell
you that story.
