Fibercarbon monobloc, Oscar Bon visualises the future. Heavy, or better light, only two kilograms and characterized by the texture and color of its advenced material, it seems to come directly from a sci-fi novel while instead proving to be very resistant and extremely comfortable. This fascinating object “of the future” never ceases to amaze us because, despite of its futuristic look, it is both and industrial and handmade product. The outer and the inner shells arise from two different molds. A third mold instead is dedicated to the production of an inner soundproofing layer and the legs are created with a forth mold. Putting together these different elements is a work of high craftsmanship. The seat is then coated with a transparent film to protect the fiber of which it is composed.
