Fascinée par le mystère et la puissance du peuple Zoulou, la designer Jette
Scheib a conçu Shield en s’inspirant de la forme du bouclier africain. À la fois
protection et ornement, ce symbole identitaire se transpose ici en un luminaire
structuré et graphique.
Comme les boucliers qui fédèrent et distinguent les tribus, Shield impose sa
présence par des lignes épurées et un jeu contrasté de noir et blanc, évoquant
la rectitude et la force de ces emblèmes traditionnels.
Fascinated by the mystery and power of the Zulu people, designer Jette Scheib
drew inspiration for Shield from the shape of the African shield. Both protection
and ornament, this symbol of identity is transposed here into a structured,
graphic luminaire.
Like the shields that unite and distinguish tribes, Shield imposes its presence
through pure lines and contrasting black and white, evoking the rectitude and
strength of these traditional emblems.
