Lo studio fiorentino Sammarro
Architecture Studio riporta all’antico
splendore un patrimonio immobiliare
e artistico del ‘400 fra i più importanti
di Firenze, situato sulle colline limitrofe.
Elaborato dall’architetto Luigi Sammarro,
il progetto di restauro si pone come
scopo principale il dialogo tra gli stili
rinascimentale e contemporaneo.
L’architettura preesistente è esaltata
dalle linee morbide e attuali dei nuovi
ambienti e dall’utilizzo di arredi disegnati
su misura, icone di design dal carattere
minimale e deciso e materiali ricercati
ed originali. Il risultato è una costruzione
elegante e raffinata, che sa stupire e
rapire con i suoi spazi e i suoi contrasti.
L’elegante villa è un continuo alternarsi
di pieni e vuoti, sporgenze e rientranze,
di forme geometriche dalle linee pulite
ma accattivanti che si compenetrano fra
loro. L’intervento di nuovo inserimento
dell’ascensore all’interno della villa oltre a
sopperire alla funzione di collegamento
tra i due piani della Villa, offre una nuova
lettura compositiva dello spazio. Il sistema
di rivestimento Scomposta di De Castelli
progettato e realizzato su misura introduce
un nuovo elemento architettonico a tutta
altezza che ne definisce la centralità.
Se da un lato la scelta dell’acciaio inox
come materiale garantisce elevate
performance tecniche al rivestimento,
dall’altro la finitura DeLabré striato
conferisce sobrietà ed eleganza.
La direzione della striatura inoltre enfatizza
la verticalità del volume equilibrando il
rapporto con le forme esistenti.

The Florentine studio Sammarro
Architecture Studio brings back to
its ancient splendor one of the most
important artistic heritage of the
15th century located in the Florence
neighboring hills. Developed by architect
Luigi Sammarro, the main purpose of
the restoration project is the dialogue
between two styles: the Renaissance and
contemporary ones. The soft and newly
added lines of the restored environments
as well as the use of custom-designed
furnishings, design icons with a minimal
and decisive character and also refined
and original materials enhance the pre-
existing architecture. The result is an
elegant and refined construction, which
knows how to amaze and captivate with
its spaces and its contrasts. The elegant
villa is a continuous alternation of solids
and voids, protrusions and recesses,
of geometric shapes with clean but
captivating lines that intermingle each
other. The inclusion of this new elevator
inside the Villa, not only provides the
connection between the two floors of the
Villa, but also offers a new compositional
reading of the space. Scomposta cladding
system by De Castelli, designed and made
to measure, introduces a new full-height
architectural element that defines itself its
centrality. By choosing stainless steel as
main material, a high technical performance
is guaranteed whereas the finishing striped
DeLabré gives sobriety and elegance. Also
the direction of the stripes emphasizes the
verticality of the volume by balancing the
relationship with the existing shapes.
