Situata nella prestigiosa zona residenziale
di Istanbul, ad Ulus, la villa si affaccia
sul magnifico panorama del Bosforo,
incorniciato come un’opera d’arte da
un’ampia facciata in vetro che fa parte del
grande soggiorno. Il processo progettuale
si è abilmente concentrato su due colonne,
che proprio al centro dello spazio, fungono
da separatori del grande salone in tre
sezioni: dovevano essere vistose ma allo
stesso tempo sottili nell’intero concept.
Pertanto, un raffinato rivestimento in
metallo è stato utilizzato per vestire queste
due colonne rendendole uniche alla vista e
donando voglia di toccarle e “sentirle”.
La speciale finitura DeMarea realizzata da
De Castelli crea un affascinante gradiente
dall’antracite al blu con diverse tonalità
intermedie. Dopo aver aggiunto le luci
indirette dall’alto tagliando il soffitto,
queste due colonne sono sicuramente il
punto focale dello spazio.

Located in the prestigious residential area
of Istanbul, in Ulus, the villa overlooks the
magnificent panorama of the Bosphorus,
framed like an artwork by a large glass
facade that is part of the large living room.
The design process was cleverly focused
on two columns, which in the center of
the space act as separators of the large
living room into three sections: they had
to be striking but at the same time subtle
throughout the entire concept. Therefore,
a refined metal cladding was used to dress
these two columns making them unique
to the eye and giving the desire to touch
and feel. The special DeMarea finishing
made by De Castelli creates a fascinating
gradient from anthracite to blue with
different intermediate shades.
After adding the indirect lights from above
by cutting the ceiling, these two columns
are definitely the focal point of the space.
