Sebastian dans le monde du
design. Il travaille dans son
atelier de Berlin Est. C’est un
homme de terrain. Il a démarré
sa carrière comme forgeron, et
a fait son apprentissage dans
une usine de métallurgie avant
d’aller à l’université. La ferraille, le métal et l'acier
étaient son quotidien. Son atelier est hors du
temps, son travail est son horloge. C’est étonnant
de voir dans une atmosphère brute, un homme
sensible travaillant sur des objets délicats.
Inspiré par la science-fiction et l’astronomie, il a
créé sa lampe comme une étoile filante. Elle s’ap-
pelle ORG. Elégante et étonnamment classique, la
lampe de Sebastian passe des espaces bruts aux
univers sophistiqués.
English • Sebastian, born in Bavaria, studied
design at University of Applied Sciences in
Potsdam.
He lives in Berlin.
It’s difficult to meet Sebastian in the design world.
He works in his studio East-Berlin and is really a
doer. Before the university he started as a blacks-
mith, in a world of scrap iron, metal and steel. His
workshop is outside time, the work is the clock. It’s
interesting to see in a rough surroundings, a sweet
man, working on delicate objects.
Influenced by science fiction and astronomy, he
built the lamp like a shooting star. Its name is ORG.
Elegant, surprisingly classic which goes from rough
to sophisticated environment.

der Fachhochschule Potsdam studiert.
Er wohnt in Berlin.
Es ist schwierig Sebastian in der Designwelt
anzutreffen. Er arbeitet in seinem Atelier in Ost-
berlin und ist ein echter Macher. Vor seinem Stu-
dium hat er als Kunstschmied begonnen, in einer
Welt aus Eisen-Schrott, Metall und Stahl. Seine
Werksatt ist außerhalb unserer Zeit, die Arbeit
selbst ist seine innere Uhr. Es ist interessant, mit-
ten in einer derart rauhen Umgebung, einen so
liebenswerten Mann anzutreffen, in seiner sorg-
fältigen Arbeit an filigranen Objekten.
Inspiriert von Astronomie und Science Fiction hat
Sebastian eine Leuchte geschaffen, die wie ein
