Alain Séchas est un dessinateur et
sculpteur original, décalé et insolent.
Né en 1955 à Colombes en France,
il vit et travaille à Paris. L’artiste
cherche à déconcerter et faire réagir
le spectateur avec ses œuvres
graphiques et sculptures inspirées de
la bande dessinée, ses personnages
de chats et martiens endossant des
comportements humains à l’humour
corrosif.
Pour Daum il réalise La Vénusienne, une
pièce pleine d’humour représentative
de son univers. Mystère et sensualité
pour cette martienne érotisée venue
d’ailleurs.
Alain Séchas is an artist with a highly
original, offbeat and bold style. Born
in 1955 in Colombes, France, he lives
and works in Paris. The artist seeks
to disconcert the spectator and make
them react with his graphic works and
sculptures inspired by comics, his cat
and Martian characters with human
behaviour and caustic humour.
For Daum he created La Vénusienne,
a humorous piece that is quite
representative of his artistic world. This
erotic Martian from elsewhere reveals
a sense of mystery and sensuality.
