A family-owned business founded in 1960, CVL proudly embraces its artisanal roots and unique
know-how in the entirely handcrafted production of decorative lighting fixtures made of solid
brass. With six decades of experience, the company has patiently built its brand through
elegant collections with a distinctive signature and exceptional quality. CVL Luminaires is proud
to be one of the few companies awarded the EPV - Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living
Heritage Company) label. This prestigious distinction recognizes businesses with outstanding
craftmanship that contribute to the richness of France’s economic heritage through their
excellence, tradition, and capacity for innovation. The originality of the designs, the
timelessness of the models, and the perfection of the brass decorations and finishes make CVL
products a reliable, unique, and lasting value in the decorative lighting market.
For many years, the brand has aimed to offer ethical and environmentally friendly products. Thus,
CVL is committed to a virtuous approach to sustainable development. The production facility is
equipped with installations that comply with all current standards. An internal recycling station
ensures a "zero waste" operation: harmful metals and rinse bath waters are treated and not
released into the natural environment. The development team is also constantly monitoring
technological advancements and standards and relies on the in-house testing laboratory to
ensure the compliance of its creations. For impeccable quality, each product is inspected and
tested before packaging. Finally, the family-owned SME is dedicated to passing on its ancestral
know-how by training new employees each year, contributing to the maintenance of skilled jobs
in the region.
The CVL Manufacture collection is designed for both specialized distributors and retailers of
decorative products, as well as specifiers for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
Our lighting fixtures seamlessly fit into any interior. The design office is attentive to specific
requests and caters to both modifications of catalog products and entirely bespoke creations.
In 2014, the company took a decisive turn towards design, expanding its range with a distinctly
more contemporary variety of products tailored for specifiers and the contract market. CVL
quickly gained the approval of new clients in France and worldwide (exporting to around 50
countries), who value the unique expertise of our workshops and the refinement of our lighting
fixtures.
