de Velde and completed
in 1913 by Auguste
Perret. Despite Art Déco
reminiscences, it stood out
for pure forms and its use
of reinforced concrete.

typical 18th-century
mansion that Auguste
Rodin used as atelier,
and contains some of the
sculptor’s masterpieces
besides his archive and
personal collection.

in 1980 transformed
by Gae Aulenti into
an art museum, and
is home to one of the
largest collections of
impressionist works.
