Our rugs are highly durable, high-quality
products produced with skilled craftsman-
ship. The ancient art of “Tibetan knotting”
is used in the weaving process, a technique
that creates a particularly soft and silky
feel. The textile artworks, woven with
80 knots per square inch (6.45 cm²) from
100% hand-spun New Zealand virgin wool,
are easy to clean and suitable for allergy
sufferers: The wool fibres bind dust from
the air and, like dirt, can be easily vacuumed
up. Virgin wool is biodegradable and a
renewable resource. The colour pigments
are environmentally friendly and tested
according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
Rug Collection
Unsere Teppiche sind langlebige Qualitätspro-
dukte, die in kunstvoller Handarbeit hergestellt
werden. Bei der Knüpfung kommt die alte
Kunstform des „Tibetischen Knotens“ zum
Einsatz, eine Technik, die eine besonders
weiche und seidige Haptik erzeugt. Die aus
100% handversponnener New Zealand
Schurwolle geknüpften textilen Kunstwerke
mit einer Dichte von ca. 124.000 Knoten
pro Quadratmeter sind pflegeleicht und für
Allergiker geeignet: Die Wollfasern binden
den Staub aus der Luft und können, ebenso
wie Schmutz, einfach abgesaugt werden.
Schurwolle ist biologisch abbaubar und ein
nachwachsender Rohstoff. Die Farbpigmente
sind umweltverträglich und nach OEKO-TEX®
STANDARD 100 getestet.
