[ Finishes ] // Satin Steel - the standard modular metal bases are composed of a satin steel plate mounted on a white
lacquered metal frame and fixed to it by nickel square-head screws. On request we can supply the plate white matt
lacquered as the frame or in different RAL colours / Untreated brass (an alloy of copper and zinc) is a very elegant finish,
yellow-gold in colour, with an excellent corrosion resistance. We use it untreated, therefore it may oxidise with time.
Regular cleaning helps preserving its original appearance and slow down the ageing process, which might be anyway
accelerated by the weather, frequent handling or conditions of high humidity.
