__ DE Die Thonet-Garderobe S 1520 aus Stahl-
rohr ist von der klassischen Stahlrohr-Wandgar-
derobe B 52/1 aus dem Jahr 1930/31 inspiriert,
die u. a. im berühmten Thonet-Steckkartenka-
talog (1930/31) dokumentiert ist. Gegenüber
dem historischen Entwurf wurde vor allem die
Größe behutsam an heutige Bedürfnisse ange-
passt – die S 1520 bietet deutlich mehr Platz für
Kleidung und Gegenstände. Die verdeckten Gar-
derobenhaken gewähren eine lineare, saubere
Optik.
__EN The Thonet tubular steel coat rack S 1520
is inspired by the classic tubular steel wall-moun-
ted coat rack B 52/1 from 1930/31, which
is documented in the famous Thonet catalogue
from 1930/31. Compared with the historical
design, the size has been carefully adjusted to
modern requirements – the S 1520 offers signifi-
cantly more space for clothing and objects. The
covered coat hooks make for a linear, cleaner
look.
