Fortune 1 calls to mind Abstract Expressionist painter Joan Mitchell’s Plowed Field, 1971. Like Mitchell’s mammoth
work, Fortune 1 is a large-scale canvas painting that recalls a natural landscape. The painting is an intricate
symphony of colors in a nuanced arrangement that is both chaotic and harmonious creating a sense of depth and
