Every Turn is a three-part series of works on textured paper that recall the early 20th century compositions of
Giorgio de Chirico, a prominent Italian artist and founder of the scuola metafisica art movement. In Every Turn 2,
a perspective of a window becomes distorted through tilted walls and off-balance lines. Heightening this effect, a
source of light near the top of the structure adds illumination and shadow for a subtle movement that feels three-
dimensional.
Exquisitely composed from an earth-toned palette of eggshell, dark sienna, maize, salmon, and brown, Every Turn
2 invites the viewer into a dreamlike space in this original addition to ART by TA.
