Nonostante l’apparente semplicità, la sedia nasconde una costruzione complessa,
giocando con geometrie, angoli e linee che ne assicurano la durabilità e la longevità,
qualità che, secondo il designer, sono il vero successo di un oggetto. “L’idea di partenza
era creare una sedia che fosse funzionale, ma che allo stesso tempo aggiungesse un
livello di raffinatezza a un prodotto di uso quotidiano, trasformandolo in un’espe-
rienza completamente nuova.” KLOTSKI è disponibile in due finiture: una in ciliegio,
con tonalità calde e una venatura lineare che esalta la geometria della sedia, e una in
laccatura opaca verde scuro, che sottolinea la sua semplicità e raffinatezza.
Behind its seemingly simple construction lies a play of geometries, angles, and lines
that ensure the product’s longevity - an attribute that, according to the designer, is the
greatest achievement of an object. “The starting point was creating a chair that looks
and feels utilitarian but introduces a level of sophistication to an everyday product,
elevating it and giving the chair a completely different experience.” It is made either
in cherry, with a warm, red undertone and a straight grain that highlights the careful
geometry of the chair, or a monochrome matt green painted version that emphasises
the simplicity and refinement.
