Ionna Vautrin
(En) Alessandro Stabile (Milan, 1985) set up his
studio in 2011 specializes in industrial design
and art direction. In 2013 the Italian Cultural
Institute of New York selected him as one of
the ten Top Young Italian Industrial Designers.
In 2016 two of his projects won the first and
second prizes in Young&Design as two of the
best projects presented by an under 35-year-
old at the Milan Design Week. In 2021 the pro-
ject Chair 1:1 was nominated for the Compas-
so d’Oro and in 2022 the Taco chair for
LaCividina wins the Archiproducts Design
Award with mention for sustainability. He is
involved in the Creative Direction of four com-
panies and he designs for brands such as
Moleskine, De’ Longhi and Alessi, with the aim
of creating products that stand out for their
innovation, ethics and elegance.

Design e Art Direction. Nel 2013 viene indica-
to dall’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di New York
come uno dei dieci "Top Young Italian Indu-
strial Designer”. Nel 2016 due suoi progetti
vincono il primo ed il secondo premio "Youn-
g&Design” come i due migliori progetti pre-
sentati alla Milano Design Week da un un-
der35. Nel 2021 il progetto Chair1:1 viene
candidato al Compasso d’Oro e nel 2022 la
sedia Taco per LaCividina vince l’Archipro-
ducts Design Award con menzione per la so-
stenibilità. Segue la Direzione Creativa di
quattro aziende e progetta per brand quali
Moleskine, De’Longhi, Alessi, con lo scopo di
creare prodotti caratterizzati da innovazione,
etica ed eleganza.
(En) Ionna Vautrin is a french designer whose
creations combine softness and precision of
shapes for public and private spaces. From
small to large scale, she designs everyday
objects whose ambition is to be simple, obvi-
ous but surprising. Her work is a meeting be-
tween poetry and industry. Her projects mar-
ry geometric and organic shapes, a playful and
colorful spirit, intuitive and functional uses, a
warm and familiar presence. Graduated in in-
dustrial design in 2002, Ionna Vautrin succes-
sively worked for Camper in Spain, George J.
Sowden in Italy, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
in France. She founded her studio in 2011 after
winning the grand prize for creation from the
City of Paris. The success of the Binic lamp
edited by Foscarini in 2010 drew attention to
her work. In 2017, at the request of the SNCF,
she design the lamp installed in French high-
speed trains. A domestic version is quickly
developed in co-edition with Moustache, thus
becoming the first object of a French train
published for the general public. In June 2023,
Ionna was entrusted with the creation of the
chairs which welcome visitors to Notre-Dame
de Paris Cathedral reopened in 2024.

creazioni uniscono morbidezza e precisione
delle forme per spazi pubblici e privati. Dalla
piccola alla grande scala, progetta oggetti di
uso quotidiano la cui ambizione è essere sem-
plici, evidenti ma sorprendenti. Il suo lavoro è
un incontro tra poesia e industria. I suoi pro-
getti combinano forme geometriche e orga-
niche, uno spirito giocoso e colorato, usi intu-
itivi e funzionali, una presenza calda e
familiare. Laureata in design industriale nel
2002, Ionna Vautrin ha lavorato successiva-
mente per Camper in Spagna, George J. Sow-
den in Italia, Ronan ed Erwan Bouroullec in
Francia. Ha fondato il suo studio nel 2011 dopo
aver vinto il primo premio per la creazione del-
la Città di Parigi. Il successo della lampada
“Binic” per Foscarini nel 2010 ha attirato l'at-
tenzione sul suo lavoro. Nel 2017, su richiesta
della SNCF, ha disegnato la lampada installa-
ta sui treni francesi ad alta velocità. Una ver-
sione domestica é rapidamente sviluppata in
coedizione con Moustache, diventando così
il primo oggetto di un treno francese pubbli-
cato per il grande pubblico. Nel giugno 2023,
Ionna è stata incaricata della realizzazione
delle sedie che accolgono i visitatori della cat-
tedrale di Notre-Dame riaperta nel 2024.
(En) Born in Pavia in 1983, she graduated in In-
dustrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano,
and then attended the Master's program in
Conceptual Design at the Design Academy in
Eindhoven, where she graduated with honors
in 2008. In Eindhoven, her personal vision of
design began to take shape as a prismatic and
multifaceted discipline, a universal visual al-
phabet capable of shaping the existing with
poetic and subversive elegance. For her, being
a designer means being a researcher, engi-
neer, artisan, and fabulists of life stories, such
as those expressed by her projects. From fur-
niture to product design to interior design, her
collections reflect a methodological and pro-
fessional inclination towards Universal Design
and the creation of products that are truly
accessible to all categories of people. They
place the human being at the center, with their
aspirations limits and idiosyncrasies. Franc-
esca is a storyteller, a restless aesthete, and
a nomadic-inspired designer. In 2010, she
cofounded Lanzavecchia + Wai, a multidisci-
plinary design studio with Hunn Wai, based in
Pavia and Singapore. Since 2012, she has
served as the studio's Creative Director.

Industriale al Politecnico di Milano, per poi
frequentare il Master in Conceptual Design
alla Design Academy di Eindhoven, dove si
laurea nel 2008 con lode. A Eindhoven inizia
a prendere forma la sua personale visione di
design quale disciplina prismatica e mul-
ti-sfaccettata, un alfabeto visivo universale
capace di plasmare l’esistente attraverso
un’eleganza poetica e sovversiva. Per lei es-
sere designer significa al contempo essere
ricercatori, ingegneri, artigiani e narratori, af-
fabulatori di storie di vita, come quelle espres-
se dai suoi progetti. Dal furniture al product
all’interior design, le sue collezioni riflettono
un’inclinazione metodologica e professionale
all’Universal Design e alla realizzazione di pro-
dotti che siano realmente accessibili ad ogni
categoria di persone mettendo al centro l’es-
sere umano, con i suoi limiti e le sue fragilità,
a cui deve rispondere un design ergonomico,
adattivo, riflessivo e inclusivo. Storyteller,
esteta inquieta e progettista dalle ispirazioni
nomadi, nel 2010 fonda con Hunn Wai lo stu-
dio multidisciplinare di design Lanzavecchia
+ Wai con sede a Pavia e Singapore, di cui dal
2012 è Creative Director.
Archirivolto Design
(En) Archirivolto Design was founded in 1983 in
Colle di Val d’Elsa, within the province of Sie-
na, thanks to the collaboration between Mar-
co Pocci and Claudio Dondoli, friends and, in
past, university friends. Initially it was a small
business that dealt with architecture, interior
design and furniture sales. Only a few years
later, Archirivolto started its activity for the
industrial design sector, an interest carried on
thanks to an authentic passion for the world
of furniture. Guided by a clear entrepreneuri-
al vision, Marco Pocci and Claudio Dondoli
defined the precise identity of their studio.
They have become specialized in the design
of seats – from chairs to sofas, from stools to
office and outdoor seats – they began to know
any type of technology and material, in par-
ticular plastic, acquiring experience on any-
thing that could be produced or printed.
Archirivolto Design, for over thirty years, has
the will to make beauty accessible. The mis-
sion of Archirivolto Design? To give life to pro-
jects in which creativity always pays attention
to the saleability and marketability of the
product on a large scale.
(It) Archirivolto Design nasce nel 1983 a Colle
di Val d’Elsa, in provincia di Siena, per merito
della collaborazione tra Marco Pocci e Claudio
Dondoli, amici e, al tempo, compagni di uni-
versità. Inizialmente prese vita come piccola
realtà imprenditoriale che si occupava di ar-
chitettura, progettazione d’interni e vendita di
mobili. Soltanto qualche anno più tardi, si de-
lineò la sua attività all’interno del settore
dell’industrial design, interesse portato avan-
ti grazie ad un’autentica passione per il mon-
do dell’arredamento. Guidati da una chiara
visione imprenditoriale, Marco Pocci e Claudio
Dondoli tracciarono l’identità sempre precisa
del proprio studio. Specializzandosi nella pro-
gettazione di sedute – dalla sedia al divano,
dagli sgabelli alle sedute per ufficio ed esterni
– si trovarono in contatto con qualunque tipo
di tecnologia e materiale, in particolare la plas-
tica, acquisendo esperienza su qualunque
cosa potesse essere prodotta o stampata.
Archirivolto Design, ormai da oltre trent’anni,
ha la volontà di rendere accessibile il bello. La
mission di Archirivolto Design? Dare luce a
progetti in cui la creatività presti sempre at-
tenzione alla vendibilità e commerciabilità in
larga scala del prodotto stesso.

(En) Laura Fiaschi (Carrara, 1977) designer and
graphics and Gabriele Pardi (Viareggio, 1966)
architect, they deal with architecture, indus-
trial design, graphics, art direction for compa-
nies and events.They have won many prizes,
among which the Award Edida 2021, Adi
Booth Design Award 2021 and the Premio
Donna del Marmo 2019; their products were
selected for exhibitions and for permanent
collections in Italy and abroad. They are in-
volved, in the University area, with open class-
es, workshops and they cooperate with the
“Free University” of Bolzano, the Cried of Mi-
lan, the Ied of Florence and Rome, Pisa Uni-
versity and the Celsius in Lucca, the Faculty
of Architecture of Genoa, the Faculty of Engi-
neering of Trento; since 2017 they are coordi-
nators and teachers of the first Masters in
Design - Innovation and Product for High-
Crafts at the IED Florence.
(It) Laura Fiaschi (Carrara, 1977) designer e gra-
fica e Gabriele Pardi (Viareggio, 1966) archi-
tetto si occupano di architettura, industrial
design, grafica, art direction per aziende ed
eventi. Ricevono numerosi premi tra cui il pre-
mio Edida 2021, l’Adi Booth Design Award
2021 e il Premio Donna del Marmo 2019; i loro
prodotti sono selezionati per mostre e colle-
zioni permanenti in Italia e all’estero. Sono
attivi nel settore universitario con lezioni aper-
te, workshop e collaborazioni con la Libera
Università di Bolzano, il Cried di Milano, lo Ied
di Firenze e Roma, l’Università di Pisa ed il Cel-
sius di Lucca, la Facoltà di Architettura di Ge-
nova, la Facoltà di Ingegneria di Trento; dal
2017 sono coordinatori e docenti del primo
Master in Design - Innovazione e Prodotto per
l’Alto Artigianato presso lo IED Firenze.
Meneghello
Paolelli Associati
(En) Marco Paolelli and Sandro Meneghello, in
addition to being product designers, are stra-
tegic consultants for industrial products. They
founded Meneghello Paolelli Associati in Mi-
lan in 2007. Since then, the studio has grown
and now counts a team of collaborators in
addition to the founders, as well as a series of
project development and communications
partners. The studio has received numerous
international recognitions, among which are
ten Red Dot Design Awards, including one
“Best of the Best”, seven Design Plus Awards,
three Good Design Awards, five ADI Design
Index Awards, three special mentions for the
German Design Awards and five mentions at
Young&Design Award.
(It) Marco Paolelli e Sandro Meneghello, oltre
ad essere product designer, si definiscono
consulenti strategici per il prodotto industria-
le. Fondano Meneghello Paolelli Associati a
Milano nel 2007. Da allora, lo studio affianca
aziende italiane ed estere con il fine di creare
valore aggiunto attraverso il design di prodot-
to. A testimonianza di questo impegno e della
concretezza del suo approccio, lo studio ha
ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti internazio-
nali, tra cui dieci Red Dot Design Award di cui
un “Best of the Best”, sette Design Plus, tre
Good Design Award, cinque ADI Design Index,
tre menzioni speciali per il German Design
Award e cinque menzioni allo Young&Design.
