Serena Confalonieri
Serena Confalonieri è una designer e art director
indipendente con base a Milano. Lavora nel campo del
product, graphic e textile design, collaborando con aziende
italiane e straniere. I suoi lavori sono a cavallo tra il design
di prodotto e il design grafico: in essi è sempre presente
un’accurata ricerca nei confronti delle superfici.
Dopo la Laurea Specialistica in Interior Design, inizia a
collaborare con diversi studi a Barcellona, Berlino e Milano,
e con la Facoltà di Interni del Politecnico di Milano come
assistente.
In questi anni è stata selezionata per residenze di design e
workshop in Italia e all’estero, i suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati
da importanti periodici e riviste di settore e sono stati esposti
in importanti luoghi del design come La Triennale di Milano e
la Galleria di Rossana Orlandi.
Serena Confalonieri is an independent designer and art
director based in Milan. She works on product, graphic and
textile design projects and collaborates with many Italian
and international companies. Her works are placed in
between product and graphic design: accurate research on
the surface is always present in her projects.
After a Master’s Degree in Interior Design, she started
her career by working in many architecture and design
practices in Milano, Barcelona and Berlin, and collaborating
with the Interior Design Faculty of Politecnico di Milano as
assistant professor.
Throughout the years, she has been selected for design
residencies and workshops in Italy and abroad, and her
works have been published by important newspapers and
magazines and have been exhibited in important locations
such as La Triennale di Milano and the Rossana Orlandi
Gallery.
