With its powerful design, the Parabolica swivel chair is a fantastic object in your living room. The
asymmetrical form enables at least three different types of use: ‘normal’ sitting, relaxed reclining or
active sitting with the armrest as a small workstation. A true eye-catcher, with tremendous versatility.
You can select different upholstery for the inside and the outside and the band between the two.
Scylla

Design: Gerard Vollenbrock, 1996
Gerard Vollenbrock designed this traditional Dutch Scylla with references to ‘De Stijl’. He gave
the sober design a stunning tube frame that runs entirely along the back and sturdy upholstered
armrests. It is the small details and perfectionist finish that ensure that this design easily passes
every test, even after many years. Because it’s only under these conditions that true timeless design
is created.

The Baani chair effortlessly combines an elegant look with attractive upholstery details. A pleated
strip across the centre of the seat back provides a rich contrast, giving Baani a soft touch. The chair
also offers several other options to make each set unique. The upholstery combination is extremely
defining, but you can also opt for versions with or without arms and for wooden legs or an aluminium
swivel base.
