is a Braun & Maniatis design that is
extremely versatile in its applications.
Its ingenuity lies in the many
possibilities of the backrest. This can
be fixed (and secured) both on the
short as well as the long side of the
seat. So you have complete control
in creating different seating options.
Almost every type of layout can be
achieved by combining the multiple
1.5 or 3-seat elements. The various
layout options ensure that LX396 can
take many forms, from a two-seater
to a chaise longue. The elements
are available in two sizes, as is the
matching Footstool. There are also
various seating height options.
Options
There’s an option to add comfort by
adding a matching or a contrasting
arm or lower back cushion. This is
fitted to the seat with a metal cord,
so that it can be positioned as
required but cannot be removed from
the sofa. Both cushions are available
in large and small versions.
