Providing the ultimate lifestyle platform, Maison et Objet Paris
is the biggest event for industry professionals and design aficio-
nados to discover new trends and expressions in a wide variety
of sectors, including decoration, design, furniture, accessories,
textiles, fragrances, the world of children, tableware, and much
more. The upcoming edition is set to return to Paris Nord Vil-
lepinte, from 19-23 January 2018 and promises to deliver a cre-
ative atmosphere full of uniqueness and business opportunities.
MAISON&OBJET PARIS now offers a clearer perspective of
three main areas: MAISON and its wide range of interior decora-
tion, organised into different worlds; OBJET, the show’s concept
store, ideal for retailers; and finally INFLUENCES and its unique
itinerary. A new offer that has been created to facilitate commu-
nication and the unearthing of new products. MAISON&OBJET
PARIS’ brand new campaign was imagined by Parisian graphic
design studio Be-Pôles, asserting the trade show’s visual identity

As tradition dictates, the prestigious venue has already named
the designer of the year, the extremely versatile Dutch designer,
Cecilie Manz. The designer is always experimenting and come
January, she will present her latest accomplishments. The exhi-
bition will feature existing products and new designs, displayed
in a warm and minimalistic atmosphere, an incredible constant
in the designer’s creations. Vincent Grégoire from the renowned
Agency NellyRodi is set to design the Inspirations Space and the
Bookshop-Café following this year’s theme, SHOW-ROOM,
which is about the revolution present in consumer behaviour
in all things related to decor. Overall, the concept emerged as
the product of the investigative work conducted by NellyRodi’s
team of consultants on a variety of societal, industry and mar-
keting topics. Furthermore, the Rising Talent Award has been
announced. Federica Biasi, Antonio Facco, Marco Lavit Nicora,
Kensaku Oshiro, Federico Peri and Guglielmo Poletti will be the
six Italian designers honoured at the event. Each designer was
nominated by influential figures of the industry, Andrea Branzi,
Giulio Cappellini, Rosita Missoni, Piero Lissoni, Luca Nichetto,
and Rossana Orlandi, respectively. Every year, visitors can expect
a showcase of high-quality international offers. As a whole, the
