What best describes the success of the five-star hotel, The Lang-
ham, Chicago is its legendary service and timeless style. COVET-
ED MAGAZINE visited the stunning hospitality venue situated
just a few minutes away from Chicago’s business district, retail
hub and major attractions, and we were truly inspired by how
perfectly luxury and convenience meet. Comprised of 268 gener-
ous guestrooms and 48 private suites, the extremely comfortable
accommodations at the Langham are defined by warm and neutral
tones that are enhanced by rich textiles and dark woods creating
open and inviting spaces and giving meaning to understated el-
egance in the heart of cosmopolitan Chicago. Another amazing
feature that we were completely stunned with was the floor-to-
ceiling windows that allowed us to have premium views of the
city skyline and Chicago River.
The prestigious hotel also has a private 3,000 square foot Club ide-
al for those guests who prefer a discerning level of comfort. This
luxurious heaven can be found on the hotel’s uppermost floor of

the hotel and boasts scenic views of the city. In the club, guests
can enjoy a series of tempting privileges, such as a breakfast buffet,
all-day refreshments, afternoon tea, premium bar service and daily
hors-d’oeuvres. At the Langham Chicago, guests can experience
the inventive American culinary creations of dexterous Chef Ricar-
do Jarquin. One of the best dining spots of the hotel is the Travelle
Kitchen + Bar which highlights a contemporary interpretation of
seasonal American cuisine. The kitchen takes guests on a culinary
journey that includes ingredients from the finest farms, ranches
and orchards in the country.
Once you taste one of the dishes prepared, you can almost sense
a combination of the unique flavours that are produced in the re-
gion, allowing you to have the most extraordinary and intriguing
dining experience. However, the food is not the only thing worth
experiencing as the marvellous interiors were designed by the un-
equal David Rockwell, who showcased the pure lines of Mies van
der Rohe’s modern architecture.
