Located in the heart of Kiev, Ukraine, 11 Mirrors Design Hotel is the
first and only design hotel of the country. Its 11 stores with panoram-
ic views of this stunning capital will make you travel through a sim-
plistic and peaceful set of mirrors and reflections, from the comfort of
the rooms to the typical dishes of their traditional cuisine. The con-
cept was created by Wladimir Klitschko, a Ukrainian sports superstar,
who was eager to bring a modern touch to his favourite city. The idea
was to better serve their guests in the best way possible, as much as
he would love to be treated when arriving to Kiev. In order to achieve
his goal, Wladimir called Ruslan Oleksenko, a real estate developer
who shared the same passion for the project. The hotel opened on
June 2012, only two years after the construction work started, with
the slogan “Reflecting You”, which beautifully represents the ground
base of his architecture and interior design. The number 11 is reflected
in many aspects of 11 Mirrors Design Hotel but, in its essence, 11 is
the number of qualities and values the designers wanted each guest
to reflect when staying at the hotel. When it comes to the interiors of
11 Mirrors, complementing the stunning granite and mirrors façade,
the majestic lobby includes natural stone walls and stainless steel
ceilings. This combination reflects an enormous luxury feeling but it
still remains a peaceful and smooth environment. The 49 rooms and
suites are decorated with warm neutral tons like beige, white, taupe
and plum, and feature a stunning an unconventional mirror, built out
of eleven rearranged geometric fragments. The best part: the view!
The glassy façade provides a stunning view over the centre of Kiev
that looks astonishing when covered with snow, bringing into being
a perfect romantic setting. Nevertheless, 11 Mirrors Design Hotel,
