The theme of the Met Gala’s 2019 Costume Exhibition was “Camp:
Notes on Fashion”. Since we are not talking about sleeping bags
and tents, what does camp truly mean when it comes to aesthetic?
Inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay that defines camp as “love
of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration.”, camp aesthetic
can be humorous, ironic, or simply extreme in its nature. Now the
challenge is how to bring the Met Gala 2019 Camp aesthetic into
