Just like the Portuguese sailed and ventured into the
unknown waters of the New World in the early 15th
century, we are cruising for the best inspirations and
designers of these recreational vessels. But which
projects are so unique and exquisite that pierce through
waves with a remarkable elegance across the seven
seas? CovetED Magazine has curated a list of the most
impressive and inspirational luxurious superyachts
projects and designs in the world.
Covet House offers a curated selection of contemporary design from
the world’s top furniture, upholstery, lighting, and accessories brands,
also offering unique tools with the clear mission of creating an
environment where luxury brands and interior design professionals
work together and inspire the world. Already conquering the world
of residential and commercial interior designs, the brand is now
venturing into deeper waters and exploring new edges of design by
creating, advising and inspiring this small yet opulent niche in the
interior design market.
Blohm + Voss created the 390 ft (119m) luxury motor yacht ‘A’,
launched in early 2008 and currently one of the largest motor yachts in
the world. It features unique features, from her innovative engineering
and design to the three completely ostentatious swimming pools
that create currents. Modern and sophisticated design featuring an
excellent use of space and wood furnishings, this structural design has
many benefits, including waveless cruising. With both the exterior
and interior designed by Philippe Starck, it cost around 300 million
dollars, being an homage to contemporary design.
Serene can hold up to 24 guests across 15 cabins and fully ensures
the luxury yacht experience, boasting a helicopter hangar, two
helipads, an internal seawater swimming pool, hot and cold jacuzzi, a
submarine garage and cinema. The lavish interiors were designed by
Reymond Langton Design, a talented design team that has produced
countless impeccable yacht designs. The imposing black exterior was
designed by Espen Øino, an award winner naval architect studio
based in Monaco. Serene is an absolute inspiration for its internal and
external designs, providing a sense of opulence and extravagance in
every square inch.
