The exceptional Riff Restaurant is nestled in an excellent location,
right in the centre of Valencia. As soon as you enter the restaurant
you can sense perfect harmony and a personal and refreshing
character that makes one’s experience 100 times better. The
attentive and friendly staff provides an optimised service and
Bernd Knöller, the proficient chef ahead of the restaurant ensures
that everyone’s request is met to the fullest.
Knöller opened up this dreamy venue back in 200. He pays
especially focus to products, and as such, they are always the
main protagonist of every creation. The extremely skilled chef
transmits his unmeasurable passion for Mediterranean cuisine,
giving it his own original spin. In virtue of such, in 2009, the fine
dining restaurant was recognised with a Michelin star as well as
two Repsol soles.
When it comes to the interiors, a more neutral palette with
small pops of colour and wooden elements create a warm and
elegant ambience. The curtains are extremely soft to the touch.
Furthermore, smooth materials were used in order to create the
perfect symbiosis between civilization and nature. This was
certainly an amazing surprise.
But, speaking of what matters the most, the restaurant specialises
above all in Mediterranean cuisine, creating marvellous seafood
dishes. Speaking from experience, we tasted a unique set of flavours
and sensations. Each dish was served with an explanation of what
we were eating by the chefs, especially from Bernd Knöller himself.
Suddenly, he explained to us how he chooses the ingredients
carefully on a daily basis, and for this reason, this restaurant doesn’t
feature a set menu, the dishes are made using what nature offers. It
depends on what the fishermen catch in the sea, and from there he
develops the most astonishing culinary pieces. As a whole, visiting
Riff is an experience you ought to have. Everything is superb and
magnificent, from the sublime cuisine to the well-appointed
interiors, not to mention the utterly friendly ambience.
