ROCPOOL RESERVE - The Boutique Hotel Experience
Rocpool Reserve offers a different kind of luxury getaway. With
only 11 rooms, the hotel focuses on elegance and extreme comfort,
rather than on opulence. There are four kinds of rooms to choose
from, each with a contemporary feel from chic, hip to decadent.
Each of the rooms features emperor-size beds and some even feature
outdoor hot tubs and balconies. In-room massage treatments are
available upon request. We had a wonderful dinner at the Hotel’s
Restaurant, at a roundtable overseeing the city of Inverness. Chez
Roux is the name of the restaurant, which is overseen by legendary
French chef Albert Roux. We chose mushroom risotto, one of the
best risottos we have ever tasted, cooked with Scottish ingredients,
sourced locally, with a classic French twist. Definitely a must-try.
