Designed by Studio KO, the Museum’s Design is a tribute to the legendary French
fashion designer, Yves Saint Laurent. The façade of the building itself is elegant
and struck by curves running alongside straight lines that mimic the weft and
warp of a delicate fabric. The museum features a large and permanent exhibition
space, which was designed by acclaimed scenographer and architect, Christophe
Martin. In addition to showcasing the Fashion designer most iconic collection,
the museum also highlights temporary exhibition spaces, a research library and
archives, an auditorium, a bookstore and a terrace café. At its core, the museum is
an elegant building that matches the pristine elegance of Yves Saint Laurent and
his devotion to clean and classic lines.
