LE RESTAURANT

Intimate, welcoming, seductive, romantic, diverse, modern and
fresh are some of the words that best describe the astonishing
Le Restaurant, located in the luxurious Boutique Hotel, L’Hotel
Paris, right in the heart of the Left Bank. CovetED had the honour
to enjoy this Michelin-starred restaurant and our experience
was simply extraordinary. Its stunning interiors are masterfully
decorated with plush upholstered seating, green marblesque
pillars and beautiful silk fabric drapes the walls. As if this wasn’t
already enough, the outdoors are also bound to impress with a
small cobbled terrace with a mesmerising fountain and verdant
living wall. Due to its outstanding cuisine, quality and service,
Le Restaurant was crowned in 2008 with a Michelin star, which
is not surprising, because head Chef Julien Montbabut prepares
distinctive menus while resorting to classic techniques so as to
create dishes, that are not only progressively modern but also
light and fresh. The dishes are executed beautifully with subtle
yet creative variation son familiar flavours which are all translated
in its presentation. Regarding seafood, we had the opportunity to
experience the Sole from Noirmoutier dish consisting of perfectly
cooked shrimp accompanied by tétragone and potatoes and we
also tasted the scrumptious Patagonian beef. The desserts were
exquisite and quintessential French, we choose a special selection
of desserts by Head Pastry Chef Joana Thöny Montbabut, all
of which were mouth-watering and creamy. As a whole, Le
Restaurant is a unique spot in Paris that cuisine enthusiasts
should definitely visit.
