Paris provides with plenty of luxury restaurants for one to revel
in, and CovetED had the immense please to experience a culinary
gem in the Michelin-starred Le Baudelaire Bar & Restaurant,
located in the five-star Le Burgundy Hotel. The fine dining
venue provides a stunning visual and culinary discovery that
awakens the senses to the fullest. The restaurant’s charming
essence is carefully laid on the tables which are then decorated
with the most scrumptious dishes that combine a myriad
of colours and flavours. In order to offer the very pinnacle of
delight, freshness and taste, each element of a dish is worked
with the utmost delicacy and precision. The delicious menu
curated by the talented chef Guillaume Goupil is comprised of
six starters, three fish dishes and three meat dishes while also
providing the most irresistible desserts, masterfully put together
by Le Baudelaire’s Pastry Chef, Pascal Hainigue. Upon entering
the restaurant, we were immediately welcomed by an attentive
staff and as soon as the food arrived we could feel that it would
match the sophisticated and classic ambience of the restaurant.
Elegance and grace clearly reign at this divine restaurant. The
appetizers were so sublime and when it came to main dishes,
we were marvelled by the Crispy veal sweetbreads, flavoured
with heather from Sologne, smoked potatoes, and chanterelle
mushrooms, and we also had the opportunity to try the Roasted
duck from Vendee which was also to die for. Regarding sweets,
the one that completely won us over was the delicious Macaé
chocolate with ice cream, cocoa meringue and crisp leaves. Le
Baudelaire also has a spectacular bar where we had the honour
to taste ingenious cocktails and champagne in a sociable and chic
atmosphere. Lastly, the Tea Time is also a must if you are looking
to unwind while enjoying the refined aroma and fine flavours of
a wide variety of teas. CovetED strongly recommends a visit to
this exquisite and fine dining establishment in Paris.
