The Callanish Standing Stones on the Isle of Lewis are one of Scotland’s oldest and most mystical wonders,
and they inspired Merida’s ring of stones in “Brave”. Circu took on this inspiration as well, shaping this piece
of upholstery like rocks and natural formations. A contemporary item, Lewis Two Seat Sofa, uses its fluidity to
transpire warmth and comfort, using two very distinct fabrics: The seating and back in a soft boucle and its
back frame a delicate velvet. The details of the gold plated feet, add a little touch of luxury but mysticismand
magic as well.
