DESIGNERS
Maurizio Manzoni, born in Nuoro in 1967, graduated with a degree in Architecture in Florence in 1994
and in 1999 he was appointed Adjunct Professor at the University of Florence, for the Course of
Design and Survey and Fabric Diagnostics (Costume and Fashion - Department of Industrial Design).
He then worked with the brand Lancia, on a project entitled ‘Design invisible’ aimed at creating the
concept car “Dialogos”. His wide-range of work includes: Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Stand
Exhibitions, Fabric Design, and both interior and exterior Design for Motor Boats and Sailing Yachts.
He works with the world’s industry-leading companies in Italy and abroad: Alberta, Arketipo, Cantori,
Cattelan Italia, Dema, Difer, Enne, Esedra Suites, Fendi Casa, Fiam, Luilor, Kenzo Maison, Ycami,
La Falegnami, Lancia,Ligne Roset, MDF Italia, Mercedes Benz Style, Mohm, Natuzzi Italia,Pedrali,

Philosophy.. He founded StudioMEMO with the Designer Prof. Roberto Tapinassi in Florence, in
2001. The two Designers found common ground in wanting to offer new solutions for contemporary
living issues by applying the logic of Italian Design—work, which is purposeful and well-established in
research.
He began almost by chance his experience in the upholstered furniture field after leaving his classical
studies. Fascinated by the world around him, he dedicated himself, full of enthusiasm, to the new
shapes and technical construction research, which uses in the companies where he works. In 1991
he opened his own studio as freelance designer. New ideas will bring him to the development of
many projects. In 2016 he starts the collaboration with Alberta and creates the models Alcove and
Fortyfive. In 2022 he developed the model Diamante for Alberta.
Alessandro Castello and Maria Antonietta Lagravinese met in one of the most important studies of
design and architecture in Milan, where they matured and broadened their experience in product,
graphic, set and interior design. In 2008 they created the brand ONLYMITED featuring a collection
of limited edition pieces inspired by the world of fashion. In addition to being artistic directors for
ONLYMITED they collaborated as designers with important companies in the world of contemporary
and classic furniture. In 2014, in collaboration with Alberta, they designed the Controluce collection,
an exquisitely tailored collection, with finishes and details inspired by the world of fashion, always the
undisputed testimony of Italian style around the world, and Black collection, a selection of exclusive
products that “design” the interiors with all their personality and a touch of irony.
Marco Zito 16.2.1966 architect, graduated under Vittorio Gregotti at the IUAV in 1994. Associate
professor of Industial Design in the University IUAV Venice. Invited lecturer at the Industrial Design
Centre of Montevideo (Uruguay), at San Marco Centre of Kigali (Rwanda), at IMC - Industrial
Modernisation Centre of Cairo, (Egypt). ADI 2004 design index, selected for “Steelon”, Viabizzuno

innovation trophy, Paris with “lettere” illuminated system design, produced by Viabizzuno. ADI 2007
